The Siemens SCALANCE X204-2 (6GK5204-2BB10-2AA3) is a managed Industrial Ethernet switch designed to enhance network performance in industrial environments. It features four 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports and two 100 Mbps multimode BFOC (ST) fiber optic ports, providing versatile connectivity options for both copper and fiber optic networks. The switch supports LED diagnostics for easy monitoring, an error signaling contact with a set pushbutton, and a redundant power supply to ensure continuous operation. As a PROFINET IO device, it integrates seamlessly into PROFINET networks and includes an integrated redundancy manager for high network availability. Please note that this product has been discontinued since October 1, 2024, and is now available only as a spare part. The recommended successors are the SCALANCE XC206-2 or SCALANCE XC206-2SFP models.
