The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-CRG2-Ex1.D is a single-channel isolated barrier transmitter power supply designed for intrinsic safety applications. It supplies power to 2-wire and 3-wire transmitters or can be used with current sources. The device features two relay contact outputs and an active 0/4 mA to 20 mA current source output, all of which can be integrated into safety-relevant circuits. The current output is easily scalable, and the device includes a display for indicating measured values in various physical units. Configuration is facilitated via a keypad or PACTware configuration software. The input has line fault detection, and faults are signaled by LEDs and a separate collective error message output.
